THE PTI HOLOGRAPHIC LABORATORY
The PTI Holographic Laboratory is a complete, affordable system for producing reflection and transmission holograms. Everything is included in one strong portable and lockable case. You can also purchase a complete processing kit that includes all you need to produce Holograms, from the film and chemicals to dishes and safelights.

HOW IT WORKS
Open the case and lay the Laboratory on a flat surface. Built in shock absorbers automatically damp vibrations, and the components are mounted in pre-drilled holes, so positioning is automatic and alignment is simplified. Put the film in the holder, place an object (preferably painted silver) in the marked position and set the electronic timer for the desired exposure, usually about 5-10 secs.

MICHELSON INTERFEROMETER
Add the Interferometry Accessory Kit, by screwing the unit into pre-drilled and tapped holes and you can perform advanced interferometric experiments and measurements. You can measure the wavelength of laser light, test inhomogeneties in transparent materials and determine the refractive indices of gases. The movable mirror has a built in micrometer allowing you to resolve mirror movements to within 0.001mm.
